Is this the bit where we discuss alledged inaccuratly recorded events (by those 'who claim to have been there') between a certain member of the Revie era Leeds United team and a certain international 2nd row forward, which is supposed to have taken place in a well-known Leeds night club of its day ?

A very close friend of mine died last week from a very aggresive brain tumour, he was a big LUFC supporter and season ticket holder since the 1970's.
Three weeks ago some of the lads managed to wangle him a place in a private box at ER for the Yeovil 4-0 game, organsed help and transport from Wheatfields for him in an operation that the British Army would have been proud of.
Now I know that the ex-players are paid to smooze the clients in the private boxes but Clarkey and Reaney went far beyond the call of duty in making my mates last game at ER a very special night, especially Allan Clarke who sat and talked for an hour or so with him, treating him like an old friend and snaffling some gifts for him to take back to the hospice - its impossible to put in words what it meant to my mate, simply impossible.
