We are delighted to have the BBC cameras here with us on Sunday for the massive Carnegie Challenge Cup clash between two of the finest teams in world rugby.
We would like to remind supporters of both clubs that the eyes and ears of the British viewing public are on our match this Sunday.
Whilst we hope that the players serve up a great advert for our great game, you also have a responsibility to show the sport in the best possible light. Fans should resist from using foul, abusive or racist chanting at all times, would you like to be sat at home with your family listening to foul and abusive chanting through your television? Your game needs you, we know you won’t let us down.
If you see anti social behaviour taking place, here is what you should do:
• If you feel it is safe to do so, please go to your nearest steward and report the incident, they are unable to deal with the specific incident but will contact their supervisor who can call upon extra resources who are trained to deal with trouble causers
• If you feel it is not safe to contact a steward, please text a message to our Rhinos Proud textline on 07500312832. Give as much detail as you can including your location, please be as specific as possible so we can pin point you and tell us what and who we are looking out for.
• Don’t be afraid to tell us about people who are tarnishing our good name. We have plain clothed stewards who can go into the crowd to check out any reported incidents and if people are acting in an unacceptable way, they will be removed.
Please help us tackle these people at the ground on the day of a game, it becomes much harder after the event to track these people down. Last season we handed out several stadium bans and confiscated season tickets so please help us stamp out this problem NOW.
Please be aware that bag searches will be taking place at all turnstiles around the ground and any alcohol found will be confiscated and the owner will be refused entry to the ground. Likewise, anyone who the safety team deem is intoxicated will not be allowed entry into the ground, this will not be a matter for debate and the safety teams decision is final. Anyone dressed inappropriately will also be refused entry to the ground this includes not wearing a shirt or wearing a costume that may cause offence.
Cash turnstiles will be available around the ground however Rhinos season ticket holders should just use their membership card as normal for a regular engage Super League game. St Helens season ticket holders must exchange their voucher for a ticket from the St Helens ticket office before Thursday this week. Vouchers will not be accepted on the day and you will have to pay cash to gain entry if you wish to come into the ground if you do not have a ticket.
Don't forget that the Rhinos Reserve Academy take on Salford City Reds before the main game and we will have the Catalans Dragons v Bradford Bulls game on the big screen and on the televisions in our all bars before the big game of the day kicks off at 4.30pm. We all hope for a fantastic day of Rugby League and we would like thank both sets of supporters in advance for their help in making that happen.

Rhinos also want me to me to make people aware of the following also. But first I would just like to offer an open apology for anyone who he has pointed the finger at - something I didn’t do at the forum last night. I hope now all is forgiven so we can move on from MY MISTAKES. If your into vendettas and that then go ahead and lets see how far it gets all of us. We all make mistakes and I’m one of those people who do also. Again I offer my deepest apologies for anyone offended by my out of character outburst.
Anyways back to the point the Rhinos match day management hold a meeting on a Monday at 3pm after each and every Rhinos match day. What they want to do is (not pointing the finger at anyone this time) hold a fans forum sometime this season so we can BOTH collectively sort this problem out that the Rhinos management is seeing along with a few fans. If YOU want to sort this problem out whoever you are then please get in touch with Sian Jones whose email is - sian.jones@leedsrugby.com
From now on I’m staying out of such matters. Its not a case of that I can give but can’t take. I just genuinely don’t want any trouble.

In these kind of games a hostile home atmosphere can make all the difference.
The problem is as the chants seen last week show some people don't know where to draw the line and (in my opinion) over step the mark.
I think its a sad state of affairs where the club needs to even consider telling fans (of both clubs before anyone else says) how to behave and what is and isn't acceptable - but the vast majority do know without needing to be told.

I might just drop her an email.
The simple fact is there are too many people in the Southstand there purely to cause trouble and make gestures at the away fans. I really do wonder why some of them bother going to the games at all.
The back of the stand on Friday was full of drunken 14 year olds basically doing everything but $hagging, is a rugby ground really the place for this type of thing?
