Doing the rounds last night that he's been sacked.

On the daft rumour front, I was chatting to an old boy last night who used to play for Leeds decades ago (that's what he says anyway!!) and he said terms had been agreed with Smith, but he won't be leaving until the end of the season, not mid-way like Hape did. He may be talking sh*te, or he may be reporting fact. That's why rumours are rumours.

Kev was presented with the coaches Mom by Barrie Mac in the Long Bar last night and he was asked how Smithy was doing he replied (paraphrasing a little)
“Lee was bitten by an insect on Saturday and he turned up for training and his knee was the size of a balloon and it looked like it going to explode so he was rushed to hospital for surgery”
I’m guessing if he’d been sacked Barrie wouldn’t have mentioned anything.
