This is somewhat relevant to me because I had the exact same thing happen to me. Played Rugby on Sat, Got bitten, A and E on Monday, Abcess drained on Wednesday. In North Yorkshire though nowhere near Stains......Sympathy to Smith cos it Fooking hurts. Hope its not 3 or 4 weeks till he's back.... |

They probably just thought it would subside with treatment (presumably antibiotics.) I had my insect bitten and infected knee drained yesterday aswell but it wouldn't leave me out for 4 weeks, I was up and walking straight after, bit of soreness and today im right as rain. Wonder if there is an underlying issue with Smiths knee.??? |
