Post subject:  Catalan Universities XIII vs Leeds Met - Friday 27th March
catalonia universities team playing leeds met friday 27th march.
they will be guests at the leeds catalans game afterwards.

get yourself down there as the different catalan teams are looking at striking up relationships with student/amateur clubs in the uk with a view to mutual tours and exchange programmes

it's down for 4 o'clock, but best off contacting the university.
my mate plays for catalonia and girona and sent me the message last night.
if i can get hold of him i'll ask him for more details.

they played vs morocco (and got smashed) and are going to play before the catalans-warrington game in barcelona 20th june.
the thing is that they are really trying to give league a push, despite efforts from the catalan RU.

Leeds Met are probably the best student team in Europe. I don’t know about the world though as I’m not sure how good Australian Universities are for rugby league.

Glad to know that student rugby league is been played in France though! It’ll really boost the game and introduce a lot to it!

the catalan universities are largely made up of students from what you would call spain.
the only 'french' uni is perpignan.
anyway, try and get down there. the lads are really friendly and would welcome any advice, help or even just a chat about rugby league and britain.
