Yes b ut they were still breaking the cap and at that stage the RFL let them get away with it. But you could also ask where is Central Park, because of spend spend attitude of Lindsey in buying sucess he bankrupted the club, they know lodge in a football ground and have to play play off games in Widnes . Lindsay left Wigan in an o.k. position financially. It was under Jack Robinsons tenure that the problems really hit. You need to do your research better as obviously you have done none at all. The only thing you may blame Lindsay for was building the Whitbread / Boston stand which went way over budget. |
