I’ve been no angel in the past when its comes to terrace chants but I’m learning from that now. But I do feel that scum is a strong word that describes a vile set of people. I was stood with the Wigan crowd tonight and a majority where very nice people that I came across apart from one fowl mouth individual who thinks we’ll all find our wives in a field one of these days.
Anyways I think as a club we should work to outlaw this old and tired song as it is not setting a good example to our young ones and certainly does not represent a family game. With so many songs out they we should be able to create new ones that are more friendly.
If you like to use violence in your voices then please use it in your own time and not in a family crowd. I’m vile on Youtube with some of the things I do. But when its around kids you won’t spot me associating myself with such thug like self.
So it was you in the Wigan End, did I wave at you, some many fans shouting HOMER, HOMER, Besides the one fowl mouthed idiot, I agree many wanted a "HIGH FIVE"
