Post subject:  Next Five Games...

The next five games will be the biggest test of the season for us i would think.
To come out with no injuries, and no losses would be amazing, but i cant see it happening.

Wigan at home - Wigan are coming into form now and will like to carry on with that im guessing, and with Noble, who always makes them up their game even more against us, we will be asking alot from our players.

Saints away - Saints are not playing like they did last season at all, and are getting alot of injuries at the moment, think we could pull off a win here.

Catalans at home - Players may be rested in this game after the two tough games that we have had, and i think that this will be the chance to do that, we will be looking to go into the cup game with Saints with a good points score, and i think thats what could happen against Catalans, as they are not as good as they were last season IMO.

Saints at home CC - well.. if i had the choice between winning this, or winning the league game, i think i would choose this, because it would be nice to get to Wembley this year, as it is 10 years since we last won the Challenge Cup. However, i dont think that we will beat the Saints twice in two week, and think they will turn us over in a close game, hope not though.

Bradford away - Well.. need i say anything at this one? we should win this as bradford are really suffering with alot of injuries and are not the same nomore. Wouldnt expect less than a win here.

Out of this i think we can get at least 4 out of 5 wins at least, that being 8 points, or 6 points and a cup victory, i would take that if it was offered to me now to be honest.

Any thoughts?

My thoughts are that Wigan only came into form against a poor Bradford side and if Dorn had not made a stupid pass for Quins then Quins would have won. I've not seen anything from Wigan that the Leeds side that played Warrington cant beat.

As long as we dont pick up any further injuries againsty Wigan then yes i think we are too strong for Saints, Especially in defence.

Im with you, rest who we can and concentrate of being fully fit for the fourth round tie. I would love to get to Wembley.

I think now this match has been annouced this will be our focus. We will look to have our strongest side (injuries permitted) for this match. If we lost the previous three league matches and won this one I would still be happy.

Too far into the future for me to imagine what might happen in this game. I would like to winand on current form then we would spank Bradford harder then, well somthing that spanks very hard!

Noble, although the Wigan fans dont agree with him, values a Wigan victory over us above a Wigan victory against the Stains. They will come out on Friday all guns blazing and to be honest, that may be the game we lose.

Stains arent the side they were last season and I quite fancy us in both games there.

Catalan - who knows! I know it was against Warrington but they dug in and ground the victory out.

AND FINALLY..... Bradford away. Again I think they will get themselves sorted for that one. However, heres a thought. If they dont pull their socks up by this game, do you think Macnamara will still be in charge? Dont like to see coaches lose their jobs especially one who is expecting to go to Old Trafford at the end of the season. He did say with confidence that he would be there - I think he must have taken advantage of the RFL's advance ticket purchase agreement to get his seat early as he wont need one in the dug out!

Do you genuinely believe that?

Both Saints games will depend on the weather to a certain extent - warm dry conditions will suit them - damp cold conditions will suit us - can't see us winning both games - rather lose at KR to win the CC game

I still disagree with this everytime I hear it churned out.
