witness the evil Moriarty, by going to a popular site and searching for '1989: Leeds vs Widnes 1/2'. After about two minutes you'll see one of the worst fouls ever committed. And otherwise you'll see a real biff-bang game. Grima, Izzard, Dixon... |

I've just watched part two. Carl Gibson had great manners. Always made sure he wiped his feet. |

Broken jaw for Wadell wasn't it ? Those were great games though, the days when Widnes had a pack that would frighten you even though you were stood 100 yards away just watching. |

I think broken may understate it. Am I right in thinking that Moriarty got 8 matches for his cowardly assault? And in the late 80's, who was the player that got banned 'sine die'? I want to say Gary Charlton, but I think he might be an Eastenders character. I wonder what the heck he did (apart from not playing for a big club) that was worse than Moriarty? |

Happy memories. Those were the days when I stood in the Chav free South Stand. Hearing Vince Fawcett's name brought a smile to my face again.......those of you who recall Hull KR away will know why |

Jason Donohue of Leigh. He was let off though and went on to 'play' for Leeds. |
