A young Sam Panapa also played for Sheffield. Leeds won 50-2. Bridgeman played on the left wing with Daryl Powell as his centre. Panapa partnered ex Leeds colt Mark Gamson in the halves and a certain Gary Hetherington was the Sheffield hooker, CEO, kit man, water carrier and coach driver that day. |
