Lack of half has killed them. Really rate Butcher but she’s not a 6 and it makes them so one dimensional. |

Seemed to emulate the way the men play. Saints defence was top notch and their halfbacks were a different level to ours today. |

Poor game play execution today 1 up rugby 2 of best centres in the game with 2 of the fastest wingers yet chose not to utilise them. Enright not fit and too often comes into line but doesn’t pass Bennett tired today. Wasnt effective Saints at Headingley early July will be a massive game to put things right |

I can’t stop thinking why so many players produced their worst performance and as mentioned above maybe it is time to get a new coach in. I wouldn’t want lose Lois altogether but she couldn’t inspire or motivate them at all yesterday. |

Im all for trying to tire the Saints pack out but it just did not work and it played right into their hands. They had a really good deep attacking / second phase line that they used to great effect, we just didnt know where the blow was going to come from. There was also some very poor reads in defence but we just looked really out of sorts, maybe the occasion who knows. We can play a lot better than we did and I dont think we really did ourselves justice. A really tough one to take but hopefully lessons learned and we give a better account of ourselves in the next meeting. |
