How can a positive result be having the best fullback by some distance in our competition, and one of the top 5 in the world at the moment, calling off contract talks and letting his contract run down?
Of course only a few weeks back you were saying BJB should be the fullback instead of him .
But looking silly has never seemed to bother you.
But Hardaker is not out of the competition is he? We only have your opinion on that. The positive result that you choose to ignore is that since his troubles last year Hardaker has started this season in the form of his life. While you continue to deride our coach you have been blind to the fact that Big Mac has motivated the toubled Hardaker to produce his best form which is a good achievement especially if he has this alleged chip on his shoulder.
I hope Hardaker maintains his progress but should he not or indeed want away, as you maintain, then we have BJB who is a classy and intelligent player with great speed.

Was he breeding staffies for fighting? was he using his benefits on ciggies? did he go out with a Mr T impression?

It always makes me laugh when fans write stuff like this. If we agreed that Slater, Inglis, Hayne and Barba were the top 4 then in order to be in the top 5 he'd have to be better than all of Stewart, Milford, Minichello, Dugan and Boyd, not to mention Tomkins and that's if we agreed that he is the best in Super League. Personally I don't think he'd get anywhere near the top 10 (and FWIW I don't think Tomkins would either on his current form). There are some on the Wigan boards who were calling Harrison Hansen 'World Class' the other day, I mean you couldn't make it up.
It might be a decent debate - but in Super League I reckon only Peacock and Roby with possibly O'Loughlin and Hall are anywhere near 'World Class' and probably near the top 5 in their position.
