A quote from the West Tigers website from todays game...

Quote:Wests Tigers second-rower Gareth Ellis let opponent Willie Mason know he was here with a solid hit in the third minute, much to the roar of the large Wests Tigers crowd.

Good Lad Gareth!... :D
Quote:Ellis played 80 minutes for his third consecutive match and is in the NRL's top five tacklers despite suggestions he wouldn't be able to handle the Australian conditions.

The guy is a machine. Some way to match N. Hindmarsh's average of 51 tackles a game though!

Lets not get over excited. He has made a good start. If he can keep it up for the length of his contract then he will have proved himself.

Wakefield must be so proud so see one of their sons ripping it up in the NRL

He's a Cas lad. Lame effort even if you'd had the nous to get the troll right.

Quote:Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

Manly have been beaten for the third straight game. Maybe put too much on the WCC instead of the start of the NRL eh?
