Don’t think ‘scoffing’ is fair, i honestly could see improvement at the start of the year, however we have started to go backwards rapidly so it’s clear something is drastically wrong. I’m perfectly happy to accept my faith looks to have been misplaced.
I do however still maintain the overall set up is better than when smith started, but it clearly isn’t manifesting into the first team performances and Smith will ultimately pay the price for that.
Blease has an open goal here to instantly endear himself to the fan base.
The chat on sky after the farse at Hull was Tony Smith saying Rohan should be given more time and I would agree IF there had been an improvement of the basic skills since he took over . But the players he trains are getting worse. Leeds didn't win anything for years but where competitive. And that is the difference. We don't need to win silverware every year but we do need to be in the top 4.

I thought it was unfair on TS to be honest, he’s not going to go on live TV and criticise his family.
I think 'scoffing' is putting it mildly, there were shades of ridicule at times. The distance between what some though the progress smith was making with the team and where we actually are is monumental. I cant see where we made any visible progress even earlier in the season. Some of the signings have been a disaster too and even miller is way off what we need to be anywhere near the top. Contact extrensions to Sangare, fus and lisone just add insult to the whole sorry mess.

True but sky keep saying Leeds fans don't move on from the golden generation but we have had to. As I said most fans want a competitive team. And we are light years way from that. Not one game in in two years have they put in a good 40 let alone 80. If we where competitive I would have no complaints.

I don’t think I've ever ridiculed anyone on here, in fact the ridiculing on here is why i don’t post as often or use the forum as much.

That’s exactly what someone guilty of ridiculing others would say
I don't think there's been much ridiculing of anyone except of people who have held on to the hope Smith could turn things around.
Looking at Leeds Live and even Peter Smith in the YEP its hard to see anything other than Rohan moving on. I wouldn't be surprised if he stays the week though. I get the issue of becoming the focus of negativity on the day to remember Rob Burrow, but if he quits/is sacked before that game it would make the coach the focus of the run up to the game.
I wouldn't be surprised if GH steps in to read the riot act to players regardless. They need to be on notice - now is not the time to be putting in a half-arsed performance, even if they want a new coach.
