Sutcliffe just showing some form, Gildart completely out of form and over hyped even at Wigan. First we are rumoured to be looking at Olpherts and now we are getting Gildart. Poor business all round imo.

Sutcliffe having a couple of decent games after seven seasons of mediocrity doesn't amount to form in my book. If Hull want him now we should let him go and correct the mistake Agar and the club made him giving him another lengthy contract. Fair play to Rohan - things are moving quickly now and we won't really know what the plan is till the squad for 2023 is finalised. For now I'm just happy that there is a plan. Makes a change.

As I say IMO this isn’t about form or even playing ability it’s about use of Cap Space. If rumours are true and Wests are paying most of his wages then were getting a quality centre at a really low cost - that’s not poor business, far from it

Think you’ll be disappointed if you think Gildart is still a ‘quality’ centre. Not been for a couple of years…..

Not sure about this one. I never really rated him, but maybe I just don't like Wigan players. And as for international centre! A Wigan player picked by Shaun Wane doesn't necessarily make them international class. I knew he had no chance in the NRL. Their 3/4's are so much more athletic than ours.
We have Sutcliffe, Hardaker, Edwards and Simpson, so Centre is not a priority. But if it's for the greater good. If Sutcliffe is on his way and RS is not convinced that Hardakers best position is centre, then we have a need. As long as the jigsaw puzzle of in's and out's includes 2 props as well, then so be it.

It`s poor business if we can`t fit in a prop due to us getting an average centre when we already have one in Sutcliffe. Newman and Hardaker are the centres for this year unless Hardaker is out long term. Quality and Gildart are not two words I would put together.
