Not a perfect performance, but we played with good energy in attack and defence. |

Much better all round performance and much more aggressive. Again is that because of who we are playing? Forwards running harder and not much passive defence going on this time. Mik, Martin, O`connor, Handley and Croft the best of our lot. Newman worse player in our team again today. And why is it when he makes a mistake it`s someone else`s fault. Grow up lad and get focussed on playing the game otherwise you are going to be another Jake Connor. Smith bombing a certain try first half with a 2 man overlap. A bit more skill and we would have scored 50 tonight. |

Re Newman, tough decisions need to be made. His behaviour is a disgrace. In this sport, the ‘team’ is everything. Weird guy. Cam Smith needs to return to basics. He’s not a half back. There’s a good player in there. He found it too easy at academy level. Croft was excellent. Real work ethic. Johnson is an out and out hooker, it’ll be a shame to lose him. |
