He didn't do that in the Martin incident though, he got hammered there, he's going to need a moment to collect his thoughts after that isn't he.
What Makinson did was a bit of a weird one I agree, but it's not dangerous. I'm sure there was no attempt to detach it.
You said there isn’t any dirty players in the Saints team not ‘dangerous’
Im talking about Lomax in general not just the GF.
You trying to claim Saints are squeaky clean is just red vee tinted rubbish.
The only genuinely awful tackle we've had this year's was Tetevano on Hurrell. A few more probably deserved suspensions (notably one of Prior's). Some of the others have been nonsensical, especially on Martin, who is about as clean a player as you'll see, who got suspended once for a completely laughable push on a Salford player at walking pace that would never have hurt the opponent in a million years, and once for incidental high contact which should have been a warning but nothing more.
I completely disagree with Welsby's tackle being somehow a good one. He had zero control over the impact and left his opponent with a bloodied face. It could easily have had no head contact or something much worse, and that's the point, Welsby had no control over what happened with the way he ran in.
Shows how ridiculous MRP is. Was a great game with full commitment from both sides but I didnt see anything worthy of a ban from players from either side. Ironie that Knowles cops a ban for nothing after getting away with a dead cert offence. Don"t think if affected the overall result though. Respect to James Roby the greatest hooker of the superleague era. I am Leeds through and through but one of my favourite ever players!

One of your academy players made tackle like Welsbys on Sunday did anyone moan ? No everyone nearby said what a great tackle it was

Knowles is lucky he didn’t get picked up for two shoulder charges either.
The irony over on the social media sites is bordering on hilarious over the Martin tackle on Lomax. Many are the same names that applauded Welsby’s shot only last week, yet they want a four match ban for Martin’s 'near neck breaker'. At no point were his legs above the horizontal position, and I’m almost certain Moore wasn’t going to blow up until Welsby and that cockney idiot ran in carrying on.

Not questioning that, if you read the post I was quoting it states At no point were his legs above the horizontal position. I'll leave it for others to decide if that's a dangerous position or not.
