Then we rotate and lose all go forward and start making key errors and lose all discipline. The bench was just a net negative in terms of impact for me today.
Usual rubbish from some of the usual suspects for me. Bentley a penalty machine with no go forward. Lisone good for a couple of errors. Sangare only doing one stint. Newman none existent with and without the ball.
Add into that poor performances from usual solid players like Handley and Martin. Just too many 4 and 5s out of ten across the board.
Arthur will not be happy I imagine.
He’ll be disappointed but he’ll have seen decent effort from most players which is one plus.
My worry is that he feels we’re a bit of a hopeless basket case and ends up preferring to go back to Aus. I feel like we are going in a better direction under him and we could do with at least another year.
We looked better organised in the game and then errors and penalties again gassed us out on D and we revert back to headless chickenism. We don’t have the muscle memory to lean back on to under fatigue; which is what I think Arthur would start to bring in after a pre-season.
Some really poor errors again another head shaker for Kaeru.
