I thought Sinfield had a really poor game, but I think he should come good in the end. I’m just being honest.

Fusitu’a was very good; I think we need to retain him if we can and hope for the best with injuries.

Olpherts annoys me every time he touches the ball, I’d rather play an academy lad.

Hooley was decent again at FB to the point where I’m not sure Miller was a priority compared to some other positions - let’s see what else we come up with.

The team generally is still so frustrating to watch, consistent brain fart moments every game where you just put your head in your hands. Errors and discipline keeps killing us; we get out of trouble because we do work hard and we do have some talented players but there is a lot of work to do still.

Anyway a great day in lovely weather enjoyed that.

Didn't think Sinfield was poor, but do agree that he isn't really ready. You could see why the club have been cautious about playing him. He'd probably benefit from a championship loan move next year.

We could always play Miller in the halves and keep Hooley at FB.

I like Sinfield and he goes well at Academy level, but today he had one good kick all game, one out on the full early, didn’t do much except shift the ball in attack and fell off 2-3 tackles, one of which led directly to a try. He’s a good player and prospect but he has to be able to defend against men if he’s going to break into first grade. Agree he might need a season in Championship next year. Still very young of course.

Biggest issue seems to be upper body strength/tackle technique at the moment.

I do like James McDonnell lots. Was it him that put the kick through for Hooley to score first half?

Sinfield not having played any minutes in the first team all year (or next to non) was always going to see success for him today to just get through the game without really having a great impact either way. I still think he should have been used earlier.

McDonnel is a fantastic player, a really astute signing.

That could work if we can’t find better options: my issue is quality. If Leeds want to create another dynasty we’re going to need real quality in these key positions. To be fair Miller does look skilful.

Excellent win, never easy at Hull , especially with a patched up team. On a slightly downbeat note that Hull team is possibly the worst Hull team I have seen in years.

I think we've heard that far too often about Hull over the last decade or so.

I wonder if Hooley ought to train to play stand off as well as full back for next season. Not to be first choice, but to give more options. There's a good player in there.

Good win - well done all round, need to continue with Sinfield, we wont make the six so he needs to build his confidence and get used to the pace of SL. Will give everyone a better idea of what parts of his game need working on

Fasitua - is an enigma - there is a good player in there if you can get him on the field - does he have the heart for the challenge.

Newman needs to concentrate on his game and stop questioning ever decision that doesn't go his way.

Lisone - top job - a player who give the whole atmosphere a lift - nice sidestep

Rohan complaining about the ruck or the ref today?

The team just need to finish strong - I don't mean winning every game.

Excellent win, flew back from lanzarote while match was on, checked the score soon as we landed, made for an enjoyable drive home.

Hooley's a stange one, usually lads his age from the championship are there physically, but maybe need work on skills, he's the opposite, he's a really fundamentally sound player, but lacking a bit physically, he's got the hight carry a fair bit more size, hopefully he can make it an emphasis this off season, basically - bigger, faster, stronger, all 3 should be doable from where he is now. But good to see him gaining confidence and going into next season knowing he belongs at this level.
