Thank feck Firpo will be missing the rest of the season and he can take Bamford with him.

Bamford should never have be put into that situation - that is poor management - this only works if Allardyce gets all the big decisions right

allerdyce said penalties gaunt been discussed as he had concentrated on shape and defensive systems.

Did he ever look like he was going to score? sometimes players need protecting from their own ego. Who is taking the penalties should have been discussed and agreed not left to chance.

Allardyce has made a big difference - to save this side everything needs to go right.

not sure he is the type to gave an ego. he is quite humble. I think he just wanted a confidence boost but the captain should intervened fir me

Bamford needs to be self aware in that moment, he's obviously low in confidence and sees a penalty as an easy goal as well as been able to make up for his previous penalty miss, he should have put the team first and let Rodrigo take it, a player in confidence and is good at penalties.

Good win for the U21s tonight in the play off final 3 nil and it could have been 5.
