Really though o'connor was going to be the starting 9 going forward it's now obvious he's a back up squad player and we need a proper 9

Walters has been awful today, think he thinks hes playing for Wigan already

Walters thinks he's already a Wigan player based on this.

We’re not far from full strength in the pack really minus Sangare…. I still think we need a new 9 and another prop for 2024. Or play CJ and see if he can improve over pre-season.

If a game is ever an advert for not persevering with back rowers in the centres it’s this one. Agree Fusitua has been good, and he generally is whenever he’s on the pitch.

So many poor individual performances, dumb offloads and knock ons, completion rate must be very low

I am fully aware of that however while the standard is going to be lower we should still be able to play with some basic structure. The half back issue has been entirely predictable. Even when Sezer Austin both on we still didn't have any clear patterns in attack. I know we are down on numbers but our squad is not good enough and there has to be questions about coaching as well as recruitment.

Walters for me just isn’t a back rower, it stunts his work rate and he goes out of the game too easily.
