Yeah another thing I’ve noticed is Miller, Frawley and Momirovski have brains. This is an underrated asset for RL players - I know people blame RS but some of the on-field stupidity from our players this year has been head-slapping, literally.
Although your recruits are NRL rejects let’s be honest; these guys play quick and get the game.

Miller is exactly the sort of player that goes well over here. Good skills but will thrive in the less structure/broken field compared to NRL.
Frawleys job is to feed the back line and move us round. If he’s calm, steady, fit and available he’ll be an improvement on what we had.
Mom could be a real shrewd bit of business for all the reasons said above. Great pro, good athlete, and imo someone I think could get the best out of fusitua.

Would you switch Newman and play Mom right hand side then?

I also think Miller will be a gem in SL
Y’know, I think you’re right.
Marty Smith was never flash when kicking his teams around the park. He was steady, reliable and did his job. As long as we have signed Croft, he can do the flash stuff and leave Frawley to do the basics and keep us ticking.

Look at Harry Smith at Wigan, he’s not flashy but does the basics well, and guides the team around to let the ‘flashier’ plays do their thing, we’ve needed someone like that for a long time.

I still can’t believe it took an 18 year old to come into the side to realise how good Fus is in the air near the tryline
