Has it been released yet about what happened during the game? Was it just a case of him collapsing during the game?

All my thought are with the Walker family, couldn't believe it when I'd heard this had happened to Wakefield yet again!

Ive read somewhere that he took a hit to the head in a tackle, got up played the ball then collapsed. Not sure how true it is. Also seen it reported as a heart attack.

Good to see i wasnt the only one who felt a little choked up about it, stopped me in my tracks.

Makes our petty squabling over the last couple of days seem so pointless doesn't it.

I flicked Sky on to watch the final 30 mins of the Celtic-Wakey game and saw us playing Saints in the Grand Final. When they said the game had been postponed I assumed the standard flooded pitch/floodlight failure etc. type scenario and settled in to watch the game. When the annoucement came through I was stunned. I went from the huge high of watching the GF replay and all the memories it brought back to thinking about the young lad. I hate to imagine the sort of effect it would have on any family.

Thoughts go out to his friends and family and also to everyone at Wakey and their fans.

Can only really say what has already been mentioned.

Like always, Rugby league fans will stick together.
