Quite the opposite - here’s hoping Hudds beat Salford as Leeds is the team I’d like saints to play by a country mile. I’d be surprised if Wigan fans didn’t want a Leeds semi also.

For all the critics of him on here I thought Tindall stood up to be counted last night. Never dropped a ball or leave a huge gap. Took the ball in - din't make many metres but it took some of the workload of the forwards.
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Was going to say this. I had serious concerns with him playing due to no Newman, Handley and Martin being out but he really stood up under pressure. Yes no big runs or breaks but Catalan just kept kicking in his direction and he kept taking it safely and getting us out of there. Big credit to him.

I'm not surprised given: A) your record against us(Is it 47 wins in a row now?) and B) We'll likely be missing Fusitua, Handley, Newman, Oledzki, Gannon, Martin, Holroyd and Thompson. Let's face it, if Saints can't see us off you're not the team I thought you were. The huge bright side for Leeds fans is that Smith keeps getting the wins despite all this, which seems miraculous when you consider the last few years. Re your point on the quality of the game - I thought it started quite high and detiorated as the home side dragged it towards the gutter. Not really our fault though.

Of course you do mate. No pressure on Leeds whatsoever, and we all know what can happen when they’re told they’ve no chance.
I’m not too sure why everyone seems to be wanting to avoid Salford also? Had a good season no doubt, but Leeds beat them fairly convincingly a few weeks back, and we were pretty poor also.

Correct. Lost control of the game early on and never got it back.
Catalans always lose their cool when things start to go against them and become penalty machines.
Great win for you guys. See you next week or the week after.

100% agree that the game was dragged down by Catalans (who have been an undisciplined rabble most times we’ve played them in the past couple of years) and that Leeds have had a brilliant end to the season.
I just struggle to see them going any further but this is sport - you never know.

The media (Sky) have tried to turn Tomkins into a respectable player over the years but he showed his true colours last night.
Appalling behaviour from Catalans IMO - coach McNamara evidently still likes to resort to 1990s style thuggery, Tomkins, various players, and even the supporters throwing missiles and multiple shots of kids giving v signs on and off the pitch (I guess they are just copying the antics of Tomkins).
Seriously don't get McNamara's longevity as a coach after he ran the Bulls into the ground with crap signings... But that's for another discussion. One CC and GF appearance isn't exactly a great return for the years he's spent at top clubs in SL.
