Last year and it will apply this year somewhat (the days I'm in at University), I worked till 1/2am most nights and then was up on the train to Sheffield at 7:30 every morning.

and that example is the longest week I've got. Most are shorter.
I'm glad I don't pay another 3 grand to 3 and half grand now to live there when I'll get the train and I'll be home by 1 most days. (that's the days I go)
My daughter has one, two hour lecture per week, for the whole of year two, the rest of the time is "self study", its like doing an open university course at Carnegie now.

When it is like that they may aswell just squash everything into a year and be done with it.
I have never understood why there isn't a minimum number of hours of direct teaching time needed for a degree course.
