Maybe GH was right and RS was really good at putting in place structures and stuff behind the scenes, but for I'm sure a multitude of reasons he didn't produce enough on the field and no arguments with him leaving.

Hopefully whoever comes in next has a better platform to work from than RS inherited. Blease has a huge part to play in this next phase for us.

Well we'll get a chance to see on Friday. I imagine the whole game plan will be simplified to run hard, tackle hard, play for position. I'm not convinced our forwards as a group can play that way, even though its the most basic form of RL. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Leigh are a decent attacking side in decent form too. When we played them at their place I thought we had to play well in the second half to beat them. Nothing is guaranteed in sport, we might lose the game but I hope the crowd respects the occasion either way. In the context of this season, it's also fair to say this is a big game though.

Again and as usual contrary to majority opinion, I don't think the Leeds players lacked effort against Hull last week. When they came out, the away fans were great and the atmosphere was pretty electric - you could see Handley, Newman and others were very up for the game. I don't think effort is our main problem, I think it's quality and game planning.

As you say GH has talked in very general terms about RS doing a lot behind the scenes. I’m not trying to be argumentative here, but does anyone know the detail of this work? There is nothing obvious from the outside , we don’t look particularly fit in fact I think we look a bit weak as well as fairly slow.
