Tindall's strike rate for tries must be one of the worst in SL. He's hardly ripping it up at Hull with Sutcliffe either.

Roberts > Tindall in this regard.

Russell is only on loan to cover what has been a dreadful run of injuries in the backline. Leeds need someone reliable who can do a job; Russell is also a proven try scorer.

Tindall was out of contract and wanted to leave to be first choice.

Looking at the injury list we haven’t many options. Russell is available, hopefully he will perform. Turning to Sutcliffe ,he is another one that started out with lots of potential but never delivered.

Has Tindall had the opportunities he needed? Having seen Roberts play for us and others in the championship he's miles behind Tindall IMO.

Tindall had plenty of first grade games for Leeds. For contrast, Ash Handley came through during a tough time for the team with many poor seasons and still managed to do well enough for himself.

Neither Tindall or Roberts are the next Watkins, Hall, Makinson, Newman etc.

Tindall had enough chances, Roberts isn’t a winger either.
