Don’t think we paid a fee for gale, he was o/c, cas offered him an extended deal but he wanted to come back to Leeds. Doubt very much we paid 150-175k to then let him walk after one year.

From the statements put out, Frawley wants to play for Leeds. In the current climate, that is a huge plus. Another tick is that his fiancee is coming over with him. He's committed, all in. Oh, and he's currently starting at 6 in a Ricky Stuart team. His attitude is right and he's clearly a good player, despite all the negativity on here. I'll support him 100%.

That's not right. We did. It was reported at the time and I think the money is even in that really boring accounts thread.

I’m not hating on the Frawley signing; we clearly need an experienced head and someone to tie us together bc we are an absolute shambles at times.

It all depends on how his signing looks alongside the others.

Clearly this is a very tough recruitment market.

Just a break down of what our 2024 roster is looking like. Been told Fusitu'a has definitely resigned, Bentley has been offered a deal and close to signing after his negotiations with 2 SL clubs broke down apparently Hudds & Hull FC we're the ones in for him.

The Leeds is making a top class Half back a priority to partner Frawley.

Myler will be main utility to cover all spine positions 1,6,7 &9.

Rhyse will also cover centre the clubs relationship with Nene Macdonald seems pretty much dead in the water and it'll take a lot for them to get back on good terms with each other so the club are also looking for a new Centre.

Donaldson & Ruan will cover at Prop to make up for loss of Walters.

Finally Rowan Milnes is hesitant at joining now because he wants to be a 1st choice Half which it looks like he won't be if he signs with us or if he stays at Hull KR.

That's what I got updated today after asking about what comes after Frawley deal.

That is not a squad to get excited about sadly... looking at the top 4 teams currently, not sure who would get a spot in their 17.. and that is the yardstick we should be measuring the squad by.

Having watched this club for 43 years and experienced the bad times (90's especially) to the recent(ish) good years, the way the current club is recruiting is not upto par... a root and branch change is probably needed but won't happen.
