We just don't need him blocking the young players

Johnson has shown nothing so far, oconnor is now ahead of him behind Leeming.
Jonah Parsons us very highly rated as well, people creaming over Johnson reckon he’s nowhere’s near as good as some think, championship player.

Go, for reasons clearly established over the last five years. If we want change we have to prepared to make strong decisions and stick with them, not get sentimental every time a player does something good. Worth baring in mind that Brad is currently our 3rd choice hooker behind Leeming and young Connor. I've enjoyed watching the best of Brad while he's been here, but the games where he has been 8/10 have been outnumbered by the ones where he has been 5/10.

He's marmite isn't he.
Hero when we win, villain when we lose.
He's undoubtedly dangerous when darting from DH, but can be totally headless.
RS wants more control from DH.
And we need it if we are really going to consistently compete at the top.
I think he'll be gone.
He'll deffo get another gig in SL.
Good luck to him.

And it'd be a remarkably injury free season if we didn't need the third hooker. Leeming stays fit and all's ok. But O'Connor and Johnson together leaves us weak in a key position imo. Might be ok if we were at an early stage of a rebuild but our sights need to be set higher. I'd offer Brad a year though someone else would probably offer better.

We've got one in Johnson. I guarantee you he'll take up a lot less on the cap than Dywer does. We certainly don't need four. Look at Saints - Roby is currently in the halves and Lussick is starting, but they aren't playing a hooker off the bench. Personally I think Leeming should be looking to push himself and play more minutes every week. Rob Burrow was incredible as an impact hooker, but he was a totally unique player. Think we fallen into the trap of thinking that is the only model. Not necessarily so.

Your last point is a good one, dual hookers isn't the only way. But it can be, especially if they offer different things. But it's equally true that some fall into the trap of thinking a hooker's only role is accurate distribution from dummy. However they also need to defend the ruck. O'Connor has this in his armoury but whether he can put in 80 mins for a run of games is debatable - he'd be an exceptional young player if he could. Johnson hasn't convinced me in this department as yet. So like I said, if Leeming stays fit then all's good but I'm concerned if he doesn't.

Go for me…..his ‘highlights reel’ will certainly look impressive and no doubt over the last few years he’s contributed massively to us winning games under Agar but that’s when he was often our only attacking threat given the lack of a game plan and/or attacking structure.

Looks like Smith is now sorting that out so he becomes a bit of a luxury player for me and our ‘better’ attack further highlights his weaknesses in my opinion which are still his poor passing and distribution and his often ‘headless chicken’ style.

Look at last night as an example….looks like he was great because two decisions he made ended up working….but so nearly could have messed everything up.

As one of the players said in interview after the game, we had a move set up left and he goes on a solo run right, ends up kicking but scores.

Last play in golden point….not sure if it was the last tackle or not, but Sezer in the pocket for the winning drop goal attempt, he darts off on a solo run, gets tackled but fortunately ends up slinging the ball back for Zak to pass to Sezer who dummies and scores the winning try. If it was last tackle and he gets wrapped up with the ball in the tackle we lose a golden chance to win.

That’s two major points in the game where it ends up coming off, but so nearly messed up both so it looks good but could have easily cost us.

Bags of effort and energy and overall he’s looked good for us in moments in what’s been a poor team these last few years but to move forwards and if we are wanting to get back to challenging for trophies, I feel it’s time to say goodbye

It's a no from me.We have Leeming Johnson and O'Connor.Use Dwyer's salary to try and sign another prop.

So after around 6 games at 9 for Jarrod and 27 minutes at 9 for CJ you’ve decided they’re not good enough.. WOW

Listening to Smith's presser after the Cats game he more or less said Dwyer wont be here next year
