Remember how gash Leeds were in 2000 when Dean Lance took over, they were right up there with the current Warrington team.
That would be a short-term fix and would only hide the problem.

To be honest I'm not enjoying how poor Bradford are. I was talking to a Bradford fan last night about the subject, he thought i would be really enjoying Bradfords current form but to be honest I miss Bradford being a good side, gone are the intense derby's we used to enjoy and also gone are the large crowds!

They are far from a couple of players away. The folllowing players are average at best:
Michael Platt
Paul Sykes
Chris Nero
Matt Cook
Ben Jeffries
Terry Newton
Michael Worrincy
Craig Kopczak
Wayne Godwin
Matt James
There's 10!! And they all played against Wigan. So nearly a starting 13 who won't play for a top top team. Add some star quality, yeah they would improve, but there are 10 dead-weights to replace, before they can be deemed as a strong side.

Good players, playing poorly, at the moment. Something usually down to coaching.
Platt, Sykes, Nero, Newton, Jeffries, and Deacon, are all capable of playing a lot better than their current form.

A weak Bulls does us no favours really. We need other teams to take points off Saints, and each other really. It's also much better for the game as a whole. I think the same applies to Wigan (I didn't really think I'd ever say that). They take points of us but they are 2 points in the bank for Saints now. Does us no favours.
Still, nobody has the right to win things, Wakefield, Hull, KR etc all have as much right to be big players in the league, so if the Bulls do continue to get worse then it's down to them. I have no real sympathy but no wish to see them specifically go to pieces.
I am actually impressed with the way they have stuck with McBanana, rightly or wrongly (but then maybe they can't afford anyone else right now).

For those revelling in their demise, you are morons. SL is supposed to be improving, not getting worse.
You can tell the ones who have only been around since Bradford have been good as Bradford didnt even register on the radar as a rival before 1996.
Only been a fan since 97 so missed out when we were poor pre super league and the first year.
As long as I've supported them they've won countless trophies and we've had our nose rubbed in it plenty of times especially when they used to beat us nearly every single time. Finally its a bit nice just to have those roles reversed for once.
They'll come good eventually though and imo still finish top 6
They do it in the NFL (American Football) Some teams have been all over the shop...
I do however think there is a place for the Bulls in Bradford and think that as with all sports, its peaks and troughs. I hope the Bulls get it sorted. A decent half back, bit of funding so on and so forth will see them right...

Same here, I can't see when the next 20k + crowd is going to be for a Leeds Bulls game and that's what we need constantly to get more youngsters into RL.
I can remember when Leeds were poor and going to games when Wigan put 60 points on us, its hard. But in those days Wigan were special unlike today. Northern have big problems, i believe they have no money, gates falling and not a very good side. Yes they could beat us this year but that is sport. They have been in decline since 2005 selling players and not replacing them with the same quality. The damage Harris did them in terms of money and team morale cannot be understated. The signing of Steve M very strange, massive wages and 35 years old. I wonder how long Burgess will be with them.
