Lisone won us the game last week, but he effectively lost it for us tonight with two errors and then the stupid high shot in front of the sticks in the space of about 5 minutes.
Thought Leeds were the more skillful team, but HKR built pressure and had slightly better discipline when it counted.

Lisone had a nightmare 60 seconds.
Forward pass when you had changed the momentum.
Next set gave away the 6 again, then got the yellow.
Thought you tried to drag KR down to your level particularly in the ruck and that combined with the conditions saw you remain competitive and in the contest until the 70th minute.

HKR's tries were fluky but they played the conditions. One off the post, another lucky not to be a knock-on, and the last one barging our debutant full-back out of the way.
To say we had two first choice props missing the first half in particular was better than expected. Sangare's first stint was great. Hopefully we get Oledski and Holroyd back next week.

Croft is class Frawley is pants slow and predictable, good to see the coach has bagged the Ref and opposition players being unfair and play acting for pens? Who is up next for the blame game?

On the plus side Edgell did very well in tough conditions, Sangare did well. Did Goudemand come back? Bentley worked hard and Handley is now a top class winger. Thought Ackers was good until near the end.
On the down side , as Tad said in 2nd half we got nowhere near their 20 until game was lost in last few minutes.
We lost the battle and as that happened we made more errors, 6 agains etc.
I thought Frawley’s kicking offered nothing and we put Hiku under little pressure compared to what Edgell had to deal with.
We only stayed in the game from the great long range score, we offered little else in 2nd half.
Inconsistency is the word for this game start of the game we looked good but didn't turn our pressure into points. With the rules as they are Donaldson was probably lucky to only receive a yellow will probably get 2 or 3 games ban. Jack Smith decision making was very inconsistent for me pulling forward Passes for us but KR got away with clear as day ones, the decision to not give the offside from Bentley's offload when Litten picked it up from infront of the KR player who patted the ball down was a massive call in the game that the officials got wrong at 14-12. He then penalises our captain for dissent for challenging his wrong call next set HKR score a try that kills the game off, perfect example of why captain's challenge should be used in Super League. It's only round 2 I hope we don't go to panic stations on here, hopefully we start getting our big bodies back the likes of Oledzki & Holroyd soon. Outstanding try from Handley again great vision from Croft hopefully as the season goes on and pitches get firmer we see more magic moments like that from Croft and our other spine players.
