Isn’t that what Rohan showed last year? There is no mystery about Hull's sudden uptake in form. They spent big on two halves and a full back for 2023, but struggled to get them consistently on the field for the first ten games. Now they have things are suddenly looking up.

I said it before that Smith would make a very good assistant coach working with someone like Uncle Tony. His support staff are not experienced enough either. Hooley 100% should have played yesterday. If he can play Roberts he can play Hooley. I`m not saying Hooley is going to be the answer but if we don`t play him we will never find out. Smiths team selections leave a lot to be desired and so far this season for me Johnson has looked better at SH than hooker. We seem to be mirroring Leeds United with signings, poor team selections and not playing to a plan. I would give Smith until the end of the season, failure to make the play offs should see him leave even though injuries will have played it`s part.
