Slightly different situation, the drop off between Walters and Holroyd is less (though I still think Holroyd is better despite Walters improvement). Sinfield might turn out well, but he’s no where near Sezer at the minute.

I agree mate I was just been cynical to the previous comments that if a player is leaving drop him down the pecking order so to speak. For me you play your best 17 regardless if a player is leaving or not. And I still maintain that contracts should run until the end of a season and negotiations/transfers only take place during the close season.

No. Sinfield isn't ready for regular first team yet.
Holroyd has already proven he is good enough, and should be given as much experience to further his development. We should prioritise developing committed players over those that are leaving for rival clubs, especially when both are at a similar standard.

Fair comment. However for me I would pick my best 17 regardless who is leaving.

Think the U18 game is under the shoulder height tackle trial rules so also a penalty-a-thon
