That's how I saw it but I've only seen it once.

I'm all for the RFL trying to make sure these techniques don't migrate over here from Oz. However, for me the worst offense of the game was Gilmour's "Grapple tackle with added Eye Gouge"* so why is it going unpunished!

*Despite watching this one several times on the Biff video that someone put on a well known video sharing website I can't decide if the eye gouging hand is Gilmours or another saints player (Wilkin?) - either way its a clear deliberate grapple and somebody also claws at Smiths eyes (possibly not intentional but suspicious in the replays)

You come at the king - You better not miss.

It ain't what you takin', it's who you takin' from, ya feel me? How you expect to run with the wolves come night when you spend all day sparring with the puppies?

Being generous that was my though. If the RFL accept them I hope they warn him strongly abolut his technique in the future. Its' not something I want to see in the game let alone from our players.

Quote:Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

Interesting to see Stadler and Waldorf creaming themselves over Bentham's performance on Friday.

The same Phil Bentham who put both sides on a warning following the brawl, then immediately cr*pped out of it when the next offender just happened to be the Saints captain and put both sides on a warning again?

During the game Stevo was calling for sin binnings, then afterwards commended Bentham for not sin binning players

Bentham may have sorted it in the end but he caused it in the first place by letting it get to the level it did without nipping it in the bud.

I don't know why we're surprised at what the commentators come out with. They do have a tendancy to get caught in the moment

I don't think Andy Farrell would agree.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row
