it's where we are at.

whether you like it or not

A> i think her motivation for the recent publicity is to leave her kids as much money as possible, she had few other ways of doing it.

B> Max Clifford is very good at what he does, whether you like him or not. His autobiog is worth a read (and is in the bargain bin), it may not entirely change your opinion, but there is more to the man than meets the eye, and he has lead an interesting life.

C> The number of women going for smears has gone through the roof.

At last somebody has pointed out this very good by-product of the whole affair.
As the father of 2 daughters I am hoping that the age of young ladies being able to have this, potentially, life saving test free on the NHS is lowered.

And what merit do you think any legal threat had against her? On one hand you're claiming she's got zero earnings, so the supplies are SOL on that part, and on the other it would be funny to see the suppliers in court arguing that they felt Goody was a reliable person to base their business upon.

You've just demonstrated what I was saying - read what you pasted from Wikipedia, especially the word "rumoured".

You also need to place the figure of £100k into context, to me its a lot of money, I could live my lifestyle, pay my mortgage and all the other overheads for several years without having to work again if someone would give me £100k.

In the real world of "celeb" of course that doesn't happen, you have to pay tax on that earning and then you have to pay your agent, and they'll charge VAT on their fees. Your (rumoured) £2mill mansion won't have council tax fees of £100 a month on it and your gas and electricity bills won't be £40 a month either and if you bought it on a mortgage on the strength of future earning potential then your eyes will water every month when the payment comes around.

Likewise when OK mag want a photograph of you inside your new house they won't expect to find a kitchen (they always take the photos in the kitchen) from B&Q so the kitchen that you install on the strength of future earnings from "At home with..." photos will also make your eyes water when you get the bill, in fact the BB India earnings probably won't cover it.

Nor will they hardly cover the several cars in your driveway (will they Ms Katona) or the insurance payments on them, and we haven't even started with the payments to the security company who look after your house while you're working because as several footballers have discovered, its fekkin obvious you're not at home when you're live on TV.

So you see, £100k, although only a rumour, is small change in the lifestyle of someone who wants to give the impression that they are in the same league as a premiership footballer - just ask Ms Katona...

She was hated before she was ill, and then in her last few weeks, she was fantastic. Typical fickle members of society.

Now I've even seen and heared members of the "Great British public" called her a "legend", and an "icon", a fantastic role model" in the last few week.

It is what is wrong with the society, that a low life, racist, offensive, no brainer gets much more publicity than a woman who died of the same illness who raised hundreds of thounsands for chairity. She then incidentally was accussed of faking her illness

Without going through the full the transcript of the coversation, someone I know the other week said,
"why do you dislike her, you've got admire her for making something from her life, and that is what she has done, she is a clever woman for making something out of nothing". I gave up, but this sort of attitude is obviously down to the fault of the people who read the magazines, and the tripe that is on television.

Infact, my Grandad said today, "all to do with money, her death seems so fake, no dignity in todays world." It seems quite an accurate summary tbh.

Now what will happen to her "fantastic lover boy". Wonder if he will continue attacking taxi drivers

Well my fecktard friend, that is the point, Tomlinson was an ordinary mum who used here remaining time not seeking fame or fortune, but raising money to help others. The last thing she wanted was personal "fame".

Famous for being a thick fat ignorant pig? Oh yea!!

Jane Tomlinson became famous for WANTING to help others who would suffer the same illness as her.

Dont try and compare the two. Jane Tomlinson by plenty!!

Now Gordon"the moron"Brown has got in on the act, making a public statement of how sad he is and sending condolences to the family.
Just like he does every time British soldier is killed in Iraq or Afghanistan........Oh hang on minute........

Exactly, if I was ever unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with a terminal illness if I could remain just half as positive and dignified as Jane Tomlinson did, and raise just a fraction of the money that she did for the cause I would be happy and I would know my actions would leave my family proud of me.

The two people are completely impossible to compare because how they dealt with the tragic news was so different.
