You can't really blame them though, where else will players of their ability get the hero status, big contracts and play in front of 20k+ every other week ? I think that's been our problem since we got relegated from the PL, especially the last season & half, when players come to Leeds they will think they've made it & their hunger + desire doesn't seem to be as it was at previous clubs - look at Andy Robinson as an example. He was different class at Swansea, he was club captain and played out of his skin week in week out, he comes to Leeds and his performances reflect what he is at ER - a squad player.
They might play at a higher level but very few will play for a club bigger than Leeds. Take Beckford for instance, there's no doubt he will play at a higher level than L1, but not for a bigger club than where he's at now.
