With at least 2 props now leaving it's added another recruitment need which I don't think will have been desired.

Where do you think Walters was signed from?

Im not quite sure why some Leeds fans are going over the top about Walters, yes id have kept him but the way people are going on its like we’re letting a world class player leave.

Hopefully use the cap from him donaldson and another to sign 1 good quality. Weve had too many flops from the championship and desperately need quality over quantity now

This is the reason I have issue with some posters on here quick to downgrade youngsters but equally quick to make excuses for WORLD class players!Walters may not turn out to be the next Walmsley but he is giving himself a chance where he wasn't getting one currently, remember this Jason Robinson was in the same position not liked or fancied Wigan saw something in him how did that work out ?

If you’re having to go back to Jason Robinson to prove your point I’d suggest you’re kind of disproving that point.

I’m not downgrading anyone, Sam Is a decent young player that hasn’t really kicked in especially as a prop, he may well gi on to be a great player.

Weird you are having a go at posters for being negative when you are the most negative poster in here!

In my opinion Wigan have done very good business getting Walters. He should have been picked above Lisone and Sangare. Egg on face for Rhinos next season i'm afraid

Honestly. By all accounts Leeds wanted to keep Walters. He is behind mature players and two other young guns as a prop, and has only really started his transition there over the last 6 months.

The lad is from the NW originally and to me seems a bit daft as a brush: he could be a very good player (or maybe not) but if the lad has no patience despite the club investing 3/4 years in him, he can’t be forced.

Maybe he just wants to get back closer to family at the end of the day who knows.

Let's be honest it's no loss is it, he's hardly played and when he has he's been pretty anonymous apart from the shoulder charge v Saints.

The one we should have kept was Dupree but Agar didn't rate him
