As I don't live anywhere Leon Pryce or anywhere near a bar where he might be holding a pint glass, and I'm currently not shacked up with the ex-wife of one of his mates I really don't care anything about what he does in his spare time. I also find no reason to use his spare time activities to insult supporters of the team he happens to play for. They provide far too many opportunities themselves anyway. Leave it, most people don't care. We are probably all far more worried about you becoming a teacher.

Why do I keep thinking of Armstrong and Miller?

Good luck.

Because you were the one who was trying to make a point about him having just pushed someone ?

It is hardly surprising to me that Mr O'Brien felt he had to arm himself with a bat in the circumstances. You need to understand that a prison sentence is what I have in mind at the moment for this offence.'

seems like a pretty clear rebuttal of the "I only pushed him" at least IMHO

perhaps one of our legal beagles can comment.

So when that year 11 lad comes up to you and gives you a push at school, hard enough for you to fall over and bang your head on the floor, at least you will be able to think, "I believe in giving people chances."

Well, although I am physically quite small, I would imagine an 11 year old is smaller than me, though of course that might not be the case.

However, someone my own age and size, one on one, which is what we are talking about where Pryce is concerned? Different ballgame. I'd probably get them charged with assault, since I can't fight for toffee.

Oh, and O'Brien hit his head and neck on a pedal bin, not the floor, so it wasn't even hard enough to fully ground the bloke. (Pedal bins are rounded usually too)

Sheesh. What happened to a straightforward case of two blokes having a scrap? Not that it reached even those lofty ambitions.
