The spectating area's will probably be the major cause of any problems, especially the Western Terrace, seeing as it's uncovered. But there's also the access, etc, yes; I know Arsenal's cup tie was postponed last night due to the poor conditions around the ground, rather than anything under Arsenal's control.

That was also the main reason the Bradford game was called off on Monday.

Making a decision at 6:30pm is not acceptable.
I agree, but what happens if the forecasts are wrong and it starts tipping it down at 5? Whilst it's always best to make these decisions in plenty of time, sometimes circumstances dictate people will get inconvenienced. I'd rather the game gets called of at 7.45 than the players risk serious injury.
Of course, the fact the games on Sky, and it's the first game of the season, shouldn't have a bearing on proceedings, but.............................

Look at the pitch and surrounding areas in the morning and if they're crap, call it off.
Just been down to Headingley for WCC tickets and the paths and walkways around the ground are fine. If they grit it then im sure they will be fine. Big mountain of snow about 15 ft high in the SS car park though That ill be thre until June
