But but but we have so much big game experience. No really.
To be fair I thought first 30 mins we handled it well and looked in control. A couple of tough calls later and we went to pieces, and became an embarrassment.
Thought McGuire, Watkins, and Hall were excellent in the game. Briscoe, Keinhorst, Garbutt, and fatty Ferres, were horrendous though.
If your winger has a problem catching a ball, tell him to flaming man up and get focused. What sort of advice is it to tell him not to go for it and just take the player? Ridiculous.
Hull fully deserve that win, great second half performance, everything they did came off for them. Still can't believe Golding is the first choice fullback and looks like he is going to be for the long term. Although he scored his first try of the season today, which is poor for a fullback, I can't remember breaking the line too many times at all. Briscoe was targeted with the high ball and had a complete shocker. Brett Ferres is yet to have a good perfomance, maybe not fully fit once more. Some massive investment is needed in this team but it seems the stadium is the main priority, too many players playing out of position.

Was today any worse than the CC games/finals we lost with those guys playing???
Imo yes purely because when it got tough we had no where to go for Leadership they both had the influence & talent to turn a game like today as they've proved numerous times. Yes as you point out we've lost big games with them but we ALWAYS had a better chance with them & won plenty with them. Granted it's not just down to those 2 not being around but it would have helped & ill say again today highlighted EVERYTHING that needs sorting moving forward & i stand by that.

Why didn't they turn around those CC finals losses in 2010-2012 around? Or the earlier round losses in other years.

Same nonsense was written after failing to win the CCF in 2010, 2011 & 2012.
Quality response, really addressed all the points raised. If you can, respond with a genuine critique of why I can't be right, rather than trying to be funny.
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

It took a while to end the CC jinx but they did it eventually no? Simple question would this side be better with or without them & have more chance if winning games like today? We both know the answer & it's been glaringly obvious since they left.

You will have to wait for the clubs official line first.
With a change of coach i can see us easily challenging for honours regularly over the nxt 5 years. It blows my mind that hethrington can watch us and not see how poorly coached we are. How often do we see ryan hall score a try where where all he has to do is catch the ball and put it down because he's on the end of a well coached well structured attack that creates overlaps? Hardly ever...Most top teams wingers get 10/15 walk ins a season he's lucky if he gets 2...He has to outjump or run over people to get the majority of his and its like that all over the field...Watkins gets no god ball, ward, while still being class dosnt get to show half of his skillset, our last tackle kick option is predictable to say the least and god knows what he says to them at half time...I know we'r 2nd and everything but ithink thats despite of him not because of him..We are a really badly coached team imo
Briscoe truly dreadful but the lack of any kick pressure (again) from leeds was awful in response to what was happening. Again highlights for me why Moon is not a HB in a game where the opposition are actually any good.
