That's not a dig at you by the way, it's more an observation on the way club administrators are thinking.
I don't know about that, but I do think the English teams have looked away from lads who are maybe in the mould of props of old, heavy; set etc, viewing them as not being the way forward, and looking to bulk up running forwards rather than condition the those 'big' lads. who are probably much more natural carriers of the ball. I think they hope they're gonna find a Peacock or a Morley but forget they started as 2nd rowers. Why arent they looking for the next Barrie Mc?
In terms of them not building them like that over here, the genetic make up of many of these islanders is something we cant always compete with. just look at Stanley Gene!
