The unfortunate starting point that is so evident from this Salford debate (and, I should add, from sitting and standing amongst Leeds fans for nearly 40 years) is that so few fans understand the rules properly that it's inevitably going to be a tortured and meaningless discussion. So it's almost pointless even engaging with some of this stuff, like playing chess with a pigeon.
You can go through rulings on video and find close calls one way or another, sometimes come across a big blunder. But for most of them the fans just don't know what they're talking about and are just venting because they lost a close game due to their team's indiscipline. That's definitely the case from yesterday's game - e.g. they're complaining because the penalty count wasn't 50/50
Moore was in reality pretty good overall in the context of the current refereeing guidance.
