The club has given me far more than it's ever taken from me and to spit the dummy over 5 indifferent years seems a little churlish. I would have said it's time to pull together and try and lift a team (half a team) that is currently having a very rough time. If the board don't take decisive action in the off season I suppose people are entitled to vote with their feet/wallets.

Brilliant post.

Don’t get me wrong, something needs to change in regards to the playing squad and coaching set, but let’s not forget what this board has brought to the club…..

Some people have very short memories

I work with a Cas lad who’s in the know and is spot on with everything usually, also related to someone connected to the club. He reckons that Fulton Jr has no intentions of investing any more money, and actually wants to introduce a wage cap of 40k a year for first team players!!

There’s a reason why they’re having 'a clear out'

What honestly would it achieve?

Other than to give the Cas fans a good laugh

Perhaps it's hyperbole Perhaps it isn't the proof will be apparent that is fact what you think it will or won't achieve is irrelevant.

But even if I believe the GH spin on it which I don’t, do you think Saints or Wigan or even Leigh Miners Welfare might have said if we release you on loan, you can’t play against us this season?

You can't say that on here! It is way too close to the bone and current! The truth is the club is flapping like a stuck fish rubbish player management and even worse governance of contractual terms a complete and utter joke what decent player/management would want to do buissness with us right now?

If there was something being organised, I'm sure we'd have heard about it by now.

There was a bit of chatter about organising a protest by a few fans in the bars of Perpignan on Saturday night, but it appears they have forgotten about it faster than their hangovers. No mention on their socials, just the usual pre-game/end of season stuff and season ticket renewals.

However, I do think that if we are not looking competitive by half time, the bars will be full of people watching the Leigh/Wigan game.

Hope they go well.
I hope we can start with some intensity and togetherness. We need each player to show good body language and be supportive.
Nobody expects champagne football tonight but enthusiasm and defensive effort and some hard running will at least get the crowd behind them.
2 odd looking sides, so who knows but we need some of the established players to show some leadership tonight.

Wow, no Smith, no Holroyd - no chance. Going to be a long night.
