The reality is that the giants game the other week could easily have tipped the same way with the start we gave them. We're playing bloody Russian roulette with these starts.
Not good enough, once again giving a side a big start in first 20 minutes. Questions need asking about our tactics its not working. Smith is putting himself under pressure. Play offs already looking like a hard slog.
I just want to know what the plan is. Giving up field position, and not attacking with any structure goes against everything that's been consistently successful in modern rugby league. If you're going to do that, then it has to work. Allowing teams to carry the ball comfortably into good field position just builds their confidence, and gets the crowd reved up when you play away from home (no coincidence that we've lost almost all our away games). I'm all for innovation, but I want to know the reasoning behind it.
