I think Frawley is getting some unwarranted stick on here. Now I'm not saying he's the worlds best halfback but he won't be the same player he was at Hudds 4/5 years ago, he was 24 and didn't have much experience now he hasn't been playing NRL consistently at Canberra since going back to Oz but he's 28/29 and is a more mature player and probably a different player to what he was at Hudds. Jack Cogger was seen as a waste of space player at Hudds hes gone back to oz and will more than likely win the Premiership with the Panthers. From what I've been told from my source at the club they are trying very hard to get a top class half to partner Frawley whether we can attract/ land that calibre of player we'll have to see.

I have no recollection of Frawley at Hudds, and I haven't seen him play in Aus. Cant imagine hes as bad as some are making out on here and on social media.

He says hes an organiser, and apparently a good leader and kicker, this is exactly what we need so hopefully it works out well.

“He has a very good kicking game. Good cross field bombs and short attacking kicks his best. Left foot. Five eighth definitely his best spot. Experienced, calm, a leader, can organise, but best as a secondary playmaker. Can play hooker at a pinch.”

If that quote is even 80% true he’ll be better at moving us around the park than the current incumbent’s. It’s a big if until we see him play every week though.

Hope it’s Croft…now that would be showing some ambition.

Club could still just turn this around by announcing Brodie Croft and Tom Burgess in the coming weeks

Hopefully a case of Dunemann Mk2, and there are more dynamic signings to come.

Looks like he's playing at six again in the play offs this weekend. Miller looks to be dropping out to make way for Ponga.

I have to think Leeds will be trying for a few more signings but unless the new ones are better than the old ones, how are we going to move forward?

I thought our pack would be sorted this year but it still isn't. If we can establish more yardage and momentum in the middle it will make whoever plays 6 and 7 look miles better.

Have you any sense that it might be Croft? I think most people on here, including myself, think he would be ideal, but maybe that's just because we see him more often. My doubt about it is that if there was any truth in it, it would be all over the various RL News sites. I haven't even seen it reported as a rumour.

FB- L.Miller, R.Myler, L.Hooley, A.Edgell

W- D.Fusitu'a, A.Handley, D.Olpherts,
R.Lumb

C- H.Newman, New Centre, L.Roberts, M.Simpson, J.Smith

HLF- M.Frawley, New Half, J.Sinfield

PROP- M.Oledzki, T.Holroyd, S.Lisone, M.Goudemond, J.Sangare

HOK- J.O'Connor, C.Johnson

BR- J.Bentley, R.Martin, J.Mcdonnell, M.Gannon, L.Ruan, T.Warren

LF- C.Smith, J.Donaldson

Just a break down of what our 2024 roster is looking like. Been told Fusitu'a has definitely resigned, Bentley has been offered a deal and close to signing after his negotiations with 2 SL clubs broke down apparently Hudds & Hull FC we're the ones in for him.

The Leeds is making a top class Half back a priority to partner Frawley.

Myler will be main utility to cover all spine positions 1,6,7 &9.

Rhyse will also cover centre the clubs relationship with Nene Macdonald seems pretty much dead in the water and it'll take a lot for them to get back on good terms with each other so the club are also looking for a new Centre.

Donaldson & Ruan will cover at Prop to make up for loss of Walters.

Finally Rowan Milnes is hesitant at joining now because he wants to be a 1st choice Half which it looks like he won't be if he signs with us or if he stays at Hull KR.

That's what I got updated today after asking about what comes after Frawley deal.

That sounds like there's a gripe about the club from MacDonald?

That front row needs another addition to get back up in the 4 with Mik returning to form too.

Croft I think is just supporter talk of someone whos the level we need to be looking at whilst also somewhat attainable. It may be that the sale of Dupree has enabled them to resist offers, plus I cant see GH putting up a fee like Wigan did.
