Just a quick note to all Rhino’s supporters coming up to the Dacia Magic Weekend. On Friday 19th May Newcastle Thunder kick off the Magic Weekend with a Kingstone Press League 1 match versus York City Knights. The match starts at 20.00 at Kingston Park Stadium and there is a full range of entertainment featuring two curtain-raiser matches, happy hour drinks prices from 18.30 and a post-game sing-a-long with Mike Memphis….Wallsend’s fourth best Elvis impersonator!
Tickets are available to Super League Fans at £10 per adult and £5 for juniors if pre-booked on 0871 226 6060. Tickets on the night cost £12 standing and £15 seating.
Kingston Park Stadium is situated just north of the city and is on the main Airport Metro line. The metro is a region wide underground/train system with stations throughout the city centre, Gateshead, Sunderland, the coast and South Shields. The stadium is served by two metro stations – Kingston Park and Bankfoot. Both are less than 5 minutes from the ground. Follow the link below for a map of the metro network:-

I presume Bennett wants some time with them over there.
Fly out after Huddersfield and fly back after the Catalan game.

We got tied Wigan for the past few seasons while they were on hot form. I saw we had cas this year and thought an easier tie, now cas are on hot form and ironically Wigan with all their injuries would be the easy tie. Never mind!

When Cas are running hot then they can certainly take sides to the cleaners if sides stand back and watch them play
I would imagine that all of the games at Newcastle will suit teams that prefer a dry & fast track so next weeks game between us could be a very high scoring game
If we let them play and stand off them like we did at the Mend a Hose then we could be in for trouble

This is the worst Saints team I've seen in my lifetime. Slow, soft, and dumb. They need a lot more than a new coach, they need at least 8 or 9 new players. Cas are playing rugby the right way, and it's been a while since teams have faced a team who play such a structured, well drilled attack, and we'll need a performance better than anything we've seen from Leeds in the last 18 months.
