My excuse is that since my first game in 1975 I’ve developed some kind of LUFC PTSD with all the trauma, and I’m forever waiting for the wheels to come off again. Having said that, my happiest days following Leeds were 1982-1987 when they’d just been relegated and were absolutely gash. It coincided with me starting work and having the money to follow them all over the country. They had household names like Wayne Entwhistle, Ken De Mange and Russell Doig
. Let’s just say it’s a journey when you follow the whites.
Those names have triggered my hives.
