John kear has done that for years though and is very under-rated imo!!
Yeah John Kear's impressed me, especially this year. His ability to motivate and get results, from what on paper doesn't look alot, speaks volumes. Value for money wise, he has to be one of the best.
It almost seems that he 'gets off' on things going against them, so he can develop a 'backs against the walls', gang, mentallity. Whatever he's doing, it's working.
However I just wonder how he would cope with a top line team, where his motivational skills aren't required. Could he be successful at Leeds or St Helens for example? I just get the feeling he wouldn't, and he better off with prospects similar to the 300 Spartans against the entire Persian empire. They may lose, but generally, they go down swinging.
