For any rugby league fan looking for a nice Christmas present for under £10, the novel "Three Good Years" is highly recommended (by me!). It is set between 2006 and 2008 in a South Lancashire fictional town called Ashurst with a background of Work, Family Life, Saving the NHS and Rugby League along with a lot of typical northern humour.
