OK Here we go. There have been lots of rumours about what is really going on but because of the impending court case 'silence', so the silence has been broken on the issue by Sale rugby Union (statement below). Not only serious for our game but sport in general. Over to the Lawyers I think. Denny Solomona has retired from Rugby League, according to Sale Sharks’ director of rugby. The 23-year-old winger has failed to turn up for training at Castleford during the off-season, and he posted a video on Instagram earlier this month in the presence of several Sale Sharks players. The rugby union club are thought to have agreed a deal with the Samoan international, however, Steve Diamond claims that they are just one of several clubs trying to sign the player after his retirement from the 13-man code. “Sale and a number of clubs are interested in signing him,” Diamond said. “He’s got a friendship with Sam Tuitupou and he’s been you have a look around Carrington and that’s where we’re at with it. |

Just reading Twitter Sale have had him looking around Carrington training ground, and if Sale aren't paying a fee to Cas you can bet they'll pay his legal fees, never trust Rugby Union to be honest along with his agent! I sincerely hope Cas take him to the cleaners and the RFL ban his agent, |

Andy Clarke (agent) might end up losing a few clients after this. |

Surely if a contracted player resigns and takes the offer of a new contract in a different sport it's breach of contract? If there's no financial penalty for this, I really fear some of our best contracted players could soon be targeted by more union clubs with a much higher cap. |

Sale Sharks are living up to their nickname. union rugger types are always blathering on about the principles of fair play which govern their game. Hypocrites. The High Court case should be very interesting - and set a precedent. of course, Judas Solomona having "retired" from RL, should he fail to make it in union - and that is far from certain - he shouldn't be allowed to crawl back to our sport. |

I wouldn't believe anything Sale will say. As for Andy Clarke....great way to potentially wreck a sport your brother works in! |

Thank you for your support guys - much appreciated. This is potentially massive and could be as ground-breaking as the Bosman ruling. |
